Dressing It Up

Jacket: Michael Kors// Blouse: Jones New York: Skirt: Macys (last seen here)/ heels: Marshalls / photocred: K

Here’s a little business attire for you today (and something I wore to church a little while back). I’m packing for a conference at the moment and attempting to find things that are professional, comfortable, but not too dull for four days of negotiation and policy writing. I love the pop of color the jacket brings to this outfit, if only I could wear it all day inside. Any business casual style tips?

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! In case you missed it, here are a few favorites from the past week:

+These healthy and delicious crescent rolls (go pin them now and make them later)
+Last day to enter this giveaway (and let me know who you LOVED at the oscars last night0
+My new favorite sweater (its on sale!)
+This exciting event for Utah Valley bloggers (you won’t want to miss this!)
+Some festive President’s Day style (I want this skirt in every color)
+Why you shouldn’t read my blog (Thank you SO much for your kind responses)
+The worst date I’ve ever been on (hope this boy doesn’t read my blog…)

I’ve been wanting to introduce you to my favorite commenter/reader around these parts recently. Elle from Wishingoodluck is a fellow east coaster who is almost done with grad school. I loved her recent post on blogging and her night out at her law school prom. Elle is always leaving consistent, kind, and supportive comments on this little blog and I am so glad she found me! When you drop by let her know I sent you (please?).

** every week or so I”ll be featuring a favorite commenter on bella (whether it be for their consistent comments or their meaningful or thoughtful response to one post).

P.S. I’m accepting sponsor with a revamped program to better feature your blog. All 1000 people that see today’s post will read about Elle’s blog and if they like what they see they’ll click over and visit, maybe become followers, and soon before friends. If you want your blog or shop introduced to all my lovely readers you can check out the new packages here and if you email me today I’ll send you a code for 20% off.

  4. You are SOO cute, girly!! I've been a slacker and haven't commented as much as I should. But can I say something hilarious? I'm kind of dating this kid and his name is Ben. Coincidence? Probably not. I feel like Elisabeth & Ben couples are pretty much the bomb.

  5. Such a gorgeous outfit girl! One I add some pop to my professional outfits is by my necklaces. Today I had on simple blue long sleeve top, khaki pants, and brown heels. But I added a red necklace and it really pulled it all together!

    Enjoy your conference!
