Dressing The Bump: Rainy Neutrals

I hit seventeen weeks on Saturday and feel about twenty-three but my energy has almost completely returned and I am SO happy about it!

A few things about life at 17 weeks:

  • One of my big goals for this pregnancy is to stay in good shape throughout the whole thing. I hope it helps with delivery and getting my body back post baby, but mostly I’m certain I need some regular exercise to keep up with Lincoln + life over the next five months.
  • I’m so grateful for maternity clothes in styles I’d wear not pregnant (thanks, GAP. i love you). I’m also a huge fan of higher end maternity jeans (although not their prices, I basically stole mine from thredUP). I’ve been trying to get out of sweatpants/leggings after the gym each morning and these kind of comfy basics are helping.
  • I’m finally feeling baby kicks and I forgot how much fun it is to just unwind at the end of the day, reading and savoring the little movements.
  • Lincoln has no clue I’m pregnant. In fact, he seems to insist on being held more than ever these days. Luckily, there is still plenty of room on my lap for both little babes.

hat: Pendleton, thrifted (similar here and here)
jacket: Aeropostale, c/o
top: GAP maternity (non maternity on sale here)
denim: Asos via thredUP
booties: Sam Edelman
