We won! Things have been a little sparse around here this week because I’ve been galavanting around New York and posing as a UN delegate for NMUN conference/competition. BYU has earned the top award for the past nine years and so there is always a little bit of pressure to perform. Not only did both our delegations get outstanding overall, my partner and were voted top delegates in our committee (3 delegation awards to over 150 partnerships)! It has been one very fun, busy, and exhausting week.
While I’m recovering and enjoying our last days in the city I have a city chic inspired outfit for you from one of my very favorite blogging friends. Kirsten and I connected online this summer and started doing a few things together in real life. Now there is seldom a day that goes by without a text, emil, or get together. This girl would do anything for her friends and I’m lucky to be counted as one of them 🙂
Kirsten‘s style is all about layering and I love the way she dressed up a traditionally casual chambray for a more sophisticated look (you can see more of her chambray styling here).
Kirsten is also the girl behind the lens for most of my personal style posts (and I took these pictures of her :). We love using our picture time to catch up on our lives, dream about the future, and occasionally talk about blogging. Who knew that an online presence could introduce you to real life friends? K heads to San Francisco in a few months and I’m already anticipating our day dates in the city.
If you’re in the area and are interested in getting some photos taken (family, engagement, couple, portrait) I would get in contact with K before she leaves in June. She is so talented and has AMAZING prices. You can bet I’l be having at least one more shoot of me and Ben before we have to say goodbye to this girl.
She is offering the following deal – just mention this blog when you book.

Thanks so much Kirsten for putting this city look together for me – this is basically what our whole MUN team has been living in the past few days (minus the wedges I have yet to understand how girls manage heels in the city).
