^^this twisted pearl necklace is my favorite accessory to dress up in (the matching earrings however are actually some of my most frequently worn studs)
^^Two minutes of hair touch ups happened post pictures and pre dinner. Cruise ships might not look like they’re moving very fast, but they work up quite a bit of wind.
^I’m a fan of the bow tie (and also how well we ended up matching without coordinated packing efforts 🙂
^^we took two pictures on this windy deck and this was the better of the two. its hard to keep your dress down and your eyes open at the same time 🙂
When we weren’t adventuring through the Caribbean, we spent most of our days on deck alternating between the pool and the gym so I loved the excuse to come back to our stateroom each evening and get cleaned up for dinner in the dining room. We had two ‘formal’ evenings and two smart casual evenings on the ship and we snapped these pictures before the first formal dinner on day two of the cruise.
I got this blue number from Aria Dress for a wedding in June and since then have worn it a handful of other times (I loved it in these anniversary pictures). Thank goodness for bridesmaid dresses that are wearable (and that pack well). I wore minimal jewelry that evening and just accented with a pearl necklace and matching studs. I love how wells these pictures capture the movement of the dress. One of my favorite things about wearing Aria designs for two weddings last summer was the way the fabric flowed as I walked. There’s nothing like gorgeous fabric in a flattering design to make a girl feel pretty.
(other than, you know, confidence, happiness, and a good work out)
