After almost fifteen hours in a car last night we made it back to Cincinnati and woke up this morning to a winter wonderland. I’ve dedicated today solely to clothes (expected 5-6 loads of laundry, cleaning out closets, organizing everything) and tomorrow to getting the rest of our life in order for 2014. We had so much fun in New England for the holidays and I have so much to share! There are thousands of pictures to edit (we’ll blame Ben doing so well picking out my new lens for Christmas morning 🙂 but today I just have a few snapshots from our time in Boston.
We live less than an hour from the city and when we needed to drop off some family friends at the Boston airport, we decided to make a trip out of it. My mom gave them the twenty minute walking tour of Boston (after the hour and a half rush hour traffic tour of the Boston skyline). This was the first time Ben and I had been back to the North End since a few days before our wedding two and a half years ago (old post here). It was fun to remember that exciting time and reminisce over how much has changed.
We sure do love this city.

This is my first time on your blog and I will say that it is great! I love this post because of the pictures. I've never been to Boston but I may have to visit it now after seeing these pictures.

I would love to visit Boston, these pictures are gorgeous! Looks like an amazing time 🙂
I would love to go to Boston again. I think my husband would really love the history that city had. Congrats to your brother for being a return missionary! A 15 hour drive sounds impossible. I barely make the 9 hours from CA to UT.
Lovely photos! I've never been to Boston, but I have heard so many wonderful things. I'm glad you had a great holiday! Happy New Year!

Your hair looks so cute pulled back with a headband. Do it more often. I command you.
I've only ever been to Boston once, and it was really only Cambridge! We walked around while it was snowing and it was gorgeous. I'd love to go back!
Do you know if OASAP does free returns too?
They do returns for any reason for 30 days but the buyer is responsible for the return shipping charges on items that are returned without defect (so if you order the wrong size and need to return it, you pay the few dollars for return shipping).
