Oh happy Easter! I’m sitting here trying not to eat the rest of the coconut Lindt chocolate balls we got for “Lincoln’s” Easter basket while wearing a sick little baby and just wishing the weekend wasn’t over.
Other than this communal cold we seem to be sharing, we had a wonderful Easter weekend. We finally got around to painting Lincoln’s nursery (no more lavender walls for this little boy!) and loved spending the weekend cuddled up listening to the messages of Christ from General Conference. I wont bother trying to recount the number of times I had tears streaming down my face as I took in the messages about family while holding this sweet baby.
A few words on this skirt: I’m thrilled. I find that cheaper items are hit or miss when ordering online but this one is a total hit. At just $15, this is something I’ll be wearing over and over again this spring/summer. To the touch you can tell it isn’t the highest of quality fabric but it looks great on and has a basic lining. I’ve worn it a few times already and its the perfect length and so versatile. Here I paired it with my favorite chambray from GAP and some bright accents. My all-time favorite heels were an Easter splurge two years ago when we were still college students but they’re still so comfortable (and I’ve since gotten them in red too).
