BUT, before kids, back when we were dating and newly married, Friday night meant rock climbing.

Ben climbed almost daily during the week and I’m not sure I knew what I was getting into, but we started climbing together.  I’d come with him to the gym each Friday and Saturdays we often climbed outside with friends. It turned into a weekly ritual after we’d been dating for a month or two and it was such a fun way to spend time together.

You know, the first thing he ever bought me was my own pair of climbing shoes and a harness. True love, right?

I remember Ben wrapping his arms around my waist to strap on the chalk bag, and just hoping my deodorant from that morning was still working. It was the only thing I liked about climbing with chalk. 😉

On Friday’s we’d switch off climbing routes for an hour or two before my forearms gave out and we’d drive over to Cafe Rio and split some pulled pork nachos (dipped in the house dressing).

There is nothing quite like exercising with a cute boy you’re falling hard for to make you really hope your deodorant can handle it.

Luckily, it could. And 6 years later we’re happily married and I’m still using Dove deodorant.

Now it’s more of a courtesy for those next to me at the gym or an effort not to be a total hot mess when meeting up with new mom friends at the park, but whatever I’m up to, Dove has been the best deodorant for sports. They’ve recently reformulated for advanced 48 hour protection and I can tell a difference! It’s the same moisturizing Dove deo that I’m used to with longer lasting odor protection.
