An Afternoon in the City

Saturday Ben and I took the day off from to-do lists and enjoyed our new city. We spent some time meandering the galleries of the Cincinnati Art Museum (which is beautiful and FREE). I could spend days in an art museum but sometimes its nice to just drop by for an hour or so, knowing you’ll come back soon, with no pressure to take in everything. The day was too gorgeous to be inside long so we strolled down a little path, discussing this next stage in our life. So much is changing for us, but you know, when its just me and Ben, alone and happy, everything feels the same as it did two years ago when it had just started.

After an inspiring church meeting we concluded the night the only way you really can here, with Graeter’s Ice Cream. Oh my word its delicious. Its so good that mine was half gone before I’d ever have had the chance to get out my camera. Someday I’ll show you. Better yet, see if your local grocer carries it. Please, and you’re welcome.

  4. So exciting to discover new cities huh. Saturday I went to Peekskill where my friend moved to, it is a fun picturesque little city. And next month my friend and I are going to go up to Beacon and check out all the art galleries there.

  5. I loved these photos 🙂 Cincinatti is fairly unknown to me, so I'm looking forward to get to know the city through your eyes! Hope you don't have too much moving work to be done anymore, so you can fully enjoy this new adventure 🙂 x
