Spencer was quite excited…We used this harvest grain mix-in for one of the three loaves.
For my loaf, I added chopped pecans, brown sugar, cinnamon, and crushed graham crackers for a swirled treat 🙂

I sprinkled mine with powdered sugar and ate it plain – they’re great with cinnamon sugar, jam, and syrup too!
Why yes, we do hang our pots and pans from our light fixtures.
My mom’s whole wheat loaf.
This is my favorite brown sugar cinnamon swirl wheat bread with pecans and graham crackers!
We ran out to pick up some chicken salad while the bread cooled.
You can see the different grains in this multi grain wheat loaf.
The proud bakers 🙂
We headed outside to enjoy sandwiches on our fresh bread – whole wheat bread, chicken salad, tomatoes and lettuce (and some great conversation). Spencer heads off to start work in Peru at the end of the summer – glad I got to be home for the first of a few cooking classes I’m sure him and Mom will have before then!
