A Little Slice of Paradise

I was so excited when we first looked at booking our cruise at the idea of adding Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico to my list of countries. Technically, I guess we spent Thursday on the island of Roatan in Honduras, but it hardly counts. Carnival Cruise Corporation owns this beautiful little island they’ve turned into a resort of a cruise port so while we got to enjoy the beautiful coast of Honduras, it was lacking in the culture and ‘real Honduras’ department. It just means we’ll have to go back and actually see the rest of the country šŸ™‚

^^I may have been a little bummed we weren’t experiencing much of Honduras, but after a packed day in Guatemala the day before, it was so nice to relax on a gorgeous beach. It was blue water, white sand, palm trees, and mostly clear skies as far as the eye could see.

^^the combination of beach and this boy is enough to keep me happy indefinitely

^^we spent most of the morning on these chairs or in the water

^sandy feet = happy feet

^^he’s comin’ for you

After a morning at the beach we did a little exploring ā€¦ next post coming soon.
