15 Heels for Spring 2014

Realistically, I won’t be breaking out the spring trenches and the open toed wedges in Cincinnati for a few more weeks, but I am loving the idea of dressing in spring colors to combat some of these late winter blues. My very favorite shoe is the almond or pointed toe pump. I wear them to church each week, with jeans for date night, and with dress pants for the rare occasion I need to be in business attire. With a closed toe they’re great for the transition seasons (and any season that I don’t feel like maintaining maincured toe nails, because really, who has time for that?). I’ve put together a little wish list of spring pumps I would love to add to my wardrobe – all for under $50 right now.
THE BRIGHTS
These neon colors are such a fun and easy spring shoe. Use them to accent a black and white look or as part of a brighter spring look. I’m also eyeing these green bow heels.

THE FAVORITES

striped // floral  // leather

I’ve been dreaming of floral heels for awhile now and this middle print is reminiscent of Ted Baker. The red striped are my husbands favorite from the batch (he just walked by my computer screen) and I can imagine those leather pumps pairing with just about everything from now through November. If I could pick three heels to add to my wardrobe for spring, it would be these.

THE ANIMAL PRINT

Everything has been about leopard for the past few seasons but with the warmer weather and lighter hues, animal print is seeing a change. Go for a white base print like these snakeskin or dalmatian pumps to keep it interesting but still seasonal. Oh, and click on the white pumps to get a better look at those fish scales – I can’t get over the texture!

THE BLACK & WHITE

Add some options for pattern mixing with these classic black and white patterned pumps. The far left would look gorgeous with anything beige, the polka dots are my shoe soul mate, and the stripes looked so good in red they needed to also be on here in black and white.

THE PASTEL

pink //  geometric // mint

You can’t go wrong with pastel in spring and I love the feminine feel of these shoes. Looking for more color options? This suede beauty comes in lavender.
Which are your favorites?
If you could have one, which would it be?

P.S. While browsing shoes I came across this pair. At first glance they looked like a standard pair of pumps, with a little bow or something on the side? These Louboutin knock-offs…. there are not even words.  #mostabsurdshoe

I love these heels! I was wondering if you've ever order from DressSale? If so are the shoes comfy? Good quality? If so, I think I'm going to have to fill up my cart with several of these amazing options. Thanks!
