I’ve done a few huge closet clean outs recently and last week, glancing over all my tops hanging by color in my closet I realized a huge shift in my wardrobe. Two years ago when we moved into this house my closet rainbow may have favored blues a little bit, but I had a few things in each color. Now, HALF of my closet is white, black, or grey. And I have two shirts hanging up that aren’t a neutral, a shade of blue, or an olive green (which I basically count as a neutral these days). I gravitate toward basic pieces I know I’ll be able to wear a handful of ways and that are as comfortable as they are cute (although, to be honest, these day’s I’d pick comfort over cuteness 90% of the time).

This little eyelet sleeved number is the perfect white top for warmer weather. It isn’t super sheer or fitted, and works just as well with a pair of denim as it does tucked into a skirt. Plus, the flutter sleeves with eyelet detailing make it anything but plain. The sleeves dress it up enough to make it more than a basic top, but I promise you, it’s just as comfortable as your favorite worn tee.

It also comes in a really cute pink color and it runs a little bit big so depending on how you’d like it to fit, size down (I’m wearing an xs).The blue option has already sold out but they still have almost all sizes left in the pink and white. And right now it’s 30% off making this beauty less than $30! So go do yourself a favor and order it to wear on Easter this weekend.. and then weekly through the end of summer 😉

  1. What a lovely top. I saw it in striped too and I bet that would look adorable on as well. It has always been a tradition to get a new easter outfit each year and now that i am a.mom I also have little ones to dress up. Old navy is so vintage with the baby stuff right now. 🙂 I will definately check out the top. I may need striped version. As a mom I am terrified of white unless it’s for church only. Are you getting a new easter dress? I just spyed the cutest ever dress at j. Crew called the ruffle sleeve eyelet shift dress (in coral). You should definitely check it out with their sale and free shipping right now.

  2. Here are some favorites if you need an Easter outfit inspiration.
From nordstrom, here are my top five favorites if you want to check them out. 1. The trouve lace up body suit, which looks adorable with a full skirt. (Body suits were popular in the early 90 s and they are huge right now for that perfect tucked in look. 2. The chambray ruffle pencil skirt (also available at J. Crew) would look super cute with body suit). 3. J. Crew leopard print cotton/linen blend blouse (gorgeous colors) 4. Sea stripe tie waist linen skirt and 5. Lafayette 148 strip cotton linen skirt dress. Probably the cutest things ever on their website. Hope you have a fabulous easter and happy shopping. 😉
